and when i sit completely still
i hear you whisper
it tickles my heart and brings a smile to face
your voice calling softly to me
“i love you, i love you, i love you”
and i know, there are few, if any, joys greater
than what i feel in that moment
i rejoice in this divine romance
and praise the God who lavishes His love upon me
after a few days of ridiculous God sightings,
i have but this to say
God, i am so sorry i have so little to offer.
no matter how warm my smile
how clear my explanation
how much love i try to pour out
i will never be enough.
but please Father,
take my fives loaves and two fish
and multiply it
for I know that you can
All praise to the one who can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine
 1 John 3:1a
because of jenn’s reminder yesterday
i dusted off my dear old oswald chambers
(which i had originally bought due to the absolutely lovely mrs.sheehan!)
My Utmost for His Highest
once treasured, but lost under a pile of stuff
and opened it up to today
oswald chambers writes,
“Patience conveys the idea of an immensely strong rock withstanding all onslaughts. The vision of God is the source of patience”
a few seconds, reading -> thoughts -> thoughts ->thoughts
DANG GOD
right there…. right to the heart
all praise to God, the one who loves me

I creep on the neighbors …
I cry over things …
I dance like nobody’s watchin’ …
I go out for a drive …
I do things I’m not proud of …
I sit on the computer for 17 hours …
I eat anything I see …
I pretend to be the best dancer and singer in the world …
I cry some more …
And, then everyone comes home, and their like “What’d you do all night?”
And, I’m just like …
… Nothing …
and this is why i went home this weekend <3

“Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.”
Acts 5:38-39
“Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.”
